Panasonic Robotics can be used within both VR and AR environments, and provide a cost-effective and photorealistic virtual studio production solution for small to mid-range content providers.

The adoption of the FreeD protocol into Panasonic Robotic solutions offers the support on an industry-standard for graphics engines. It can be used over an IP network, meaning that no additional equipment or development is required.

The AW-UE150 for example is the first PTZ camera to provide Position Data Notification (PTZFI), and is part of a wide array of camera and robotic systems that can provide synchronised position data.

The support of the FreeD protocol means that most solutions from Panasonic Robotics are compatible with Virtual Studio and Augmented Reality applications from the likes of - but not exclusive to – Brainstorm, Vizrt and Zero Density.
