Panasonic Projector & Display celebrates record ISE 2026 with large Increase in booth visitors experiencing strong new product offering
Record-breaking attendance, major MEVIX launches, and reinforced partnerships underline Panasonic’s growing momentum across projection and LED display markets
BARCELONA, SPAIN – February 2026 – Panasonic Projector & Display Corporation has concluded a highly successful appearance at ISE 2026 in Barcelona, marking one of its strongest showings to date. Against a backdrop of record overall attendance at the exhibition, Panasonic reported a 41% increase in booth visitors compared to the previous year, alongside standing-room-only participation at its opening-day media conference.
Returning to Fira Barcelona with its expanded MEVIX visual solutions portfolio, Panasonic used the world’s largest professional AV platform to unveil next-generation projection and LED display innovations while deepening engagement with consultants and end users from across EMEA and beyond. Sustained footfall across all four days reflected strong market confidence in Panasonic’s evolving technology roadmap and its focus on immersive, high-performance visual experiences.
Panasonic’s media conference on the opening morning of the show drew a packed audience of international trade journalists, analysts and partners. The session opened with an address from Yousuke Adachi, CEO of Panasonic Projector & Display Corporation, who outlined the strategic direction of the MEVIX brand, advancements in wide-gamut projection technology, and the company’s long-term vision for immersive visual communication. The strong turnout reinforced Panasonic’s leadership position within the professional display market and highlighted the industry’s appetite for innovation across both projection and direct-view LED categories.
Central to the showcase was the continued expansion of Panasonic’s MEVIX portfolio, with each solution demonstrated in a way that reflected real-world application rather than static product display.
A major point of interest was the PT-HTQ20 1-Chip DLP projector. Delivering more than 95% Rec. 2020 colour gamut coverage through newly developed VIVID Prime laser technology, the projector represents a significant step forward in single chip projection. Visitors were particularly drawn to its ability to achieve colour performance traditionally associated with 3-Chip DLP systems, but within a more streamlined and cost-efficient 1-Chip platform. The advanced technology removes the ‘colour break’ or ‘rainbow effect’, where viewers perceive brief, rainbow-like flashes of color (red, green, and blue) around the edges of bright objects or during fast-moving scenes. Instead, utilizing VIVID Prime, the HTQ20 delivers vivid, deeply immersive imagery with balanced brightness and colour output — something that deeply resonates with consultants and designers working in museums, themed environments and experiential spaces.
The VMQ85 Series 4K LCD projectors were brought to life through an interactive golf simulator installed directly on the stand. Rather than simply viewing specifications, visitors were able to experience the projector’s performance first-hand. The demonstration highlighted colour stability, natural skin tones, and consistent brightness, while also showcasing the projector’s flexible installation capabilities. For many attendees, it provided a practical illustration of how the VMQ85 Series can support simulation, sports analysis and immersive training environments.
Panasonic’s high-brightness PT-RQ45 projector also attracted sustained attention throughout the week. Designed for large-venue and demanding immersive applications, the 42,000-lumen class projector demonstrated Panasonic’s ongoing leadership in high-output 4K projection. A strong indicator of the popularity of the PT-RQ45 was shown by LANG AG, who expanded its portfolio by investing in 100 units, underlining LANG AG’s ambition to provide customers with early access to new technologies.
Also drawing a lot of interest was the unveiling of the TL-55LV12A 55-inch dvLED display. Developed to simplify LED adoption across the full LED market spectrum, the panel’s controller-less HDMI input and VESA mount compatibility were key talking points for integrators seeking faster deployment and reduced system complexity. By removing traditional barriers to LED installation, Panasonic demonstrated its commitment not only to visual performance, but also to practical, installation-friendly solutions that address everyday project challenges.
ISE 2026 recorded its highest-ever attendance, reflecting the continued global expansion of the AV sector. Within this context, Panasonic’s uplift in booth visitors signals accelerating demand for reliable, high-performance visual solutions across entertainment, corporate, simulation, themed attraction and education markets.
Commenting on the success of the event
"ISE 2026 has been an exceptional milestone for Panasonic Projector & Display. The increase in booth visitors, the strength of engagement with our customers and partners, and the response from the media community all demonstrate strong confidence in our MEVIX portfolio and our roadmap for immersive visual innovation. The interest in our latest technology was substantial, and we are grateful to all our partners, customers and connections who spent time with our teams both on and off the show floor in Barcelona. "
