Automated Parts Supply
A Revolutionary Supply Technology to Transform Manufacturing
In the fast-paced world of technological innovation, breakthroughs come and go, but every once in a while, a development emerges that has the potential to redefine the industry. Today, we are excited to introduce a revolutionary technology that promises to do just that. This groundbreaking innovation is set to transform material supply in modern production sites. Let’s see what it means for the future of our industry.
Increased productivity and accuracy
The new Panasonic NPM G Series leverages Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automated production to enhance the overall manufacturing process. By incorporating the auto setting feeder (ASF), the NPM-GP / L stencil printer, and the NPM-GH pick and place machine, this series allows customers to establish flexible, efficient, and cost-effective production lines tailored to their specific needs.
Automated material supply
Automated material supply is delivered by the ASF smoothly inserting components into the production line, without the requirement for an operator to physically connect the old component reel with the new reel using splice tapes or clips. It automatically peels off the cover tape for feeding surface-mounted components with a width of 4mm to 104mm. The loading unit then automatically feeds the next tape and refills as required.
The Auto Setting Feeder (ASF) technology is a cornerstone of automation and labor-saving in manufacturing. By automating the setting and loading processes, ASF drastically reduces setup times, eliminates the need for skilled labor, and ensures splicing-free operations. Compatible with the Panasonic NPM series, X-Series, and G-Series, this innovative technology can save up to 60 seconds per session. Additionally, it offers significantly higher feed speed and accuracy, enhancing overall production efficiency.
ASF in action
These revolutionary components supply innovation supports the improvement of work efficiency in terms of tape supply and maintenance. Why not to visit us at our Connect2Customer Day at our Panasonic Campus Munich Training Center to discover the auto setting feeder in action?
I look forward to welcoming you there: October 16th or 17th 2024.
