TAWERS - The Arc Welding Robot System

The idea behind TAWERS is based on the “fusion technology” contained in TAWERS, whereby the robot controller is fused with the welding power source controller. This allows all components - robot-controller, wire feeder, welding power source, and welding process - to communicate with one another virtually without delay. The result is an exceptionally stable welding process with a high degree of repeatability and optimized cycle times.

The TAWERS Arc Welding System with an integrated inverter-based pulsed power source (350 and 500 amperes) is suitable for MAG, MIG, and TIG welding applications. It allows many special functions to increase quality and productivity: e.g. SP-MAG, lift start and lift end, automatic wire distance control, welding data monitoring, collision detection etc.
