Hungarian prototyping specialist Albacomp EA relies on Panasonic Factory Solutions
A collaboration that dates back to 2015 will be extended even more
MUNICH, OCTOBER 2021
Albacomp EA Elektronika, a Hungarian electronic manufacturer, established in 2011, started using Panasonic Factory Solutions hardware in 2015. Over the curse of the last five years and the significant growth of Albacomp, the production lineup was extended with a Panasonic AM100 pick-and-place machine as well as a SPG in-line printer.
Balazs Minarovits, Managing Director of Albacomp EA, states:
"Panasonic approached us in 2014 introduced to the new Panasonic AM100 pick-and-place machine. We liked the concept of double feeders – sometimes we produce boards with many different components; thus, we need a lot of feeders. Besides the dual feeders, we liked the software and bought the first AM100 in 2015.
We are very satisfied with the machine, the running costs and especially the reliability as well as the support of the Panasonic sales and technical staff in Hungary.
In 2017 we were looking into extending our production capabilities, so it was only logical to buy our first in-line printer: the Panasonic SPG.
The next expansion will most likely include a new Panasonic SPG2 for our second line, which is planned for this year. Besides that, another AM100 pick & place machine is on our wishlist.”
