The AK-UCU700 CCU supports the next-generation SMPTE ST 2110*2 IP-transmission standard as well as JPEG-XS to uncompress/compress 4K video by a factor of 10 without degrading quality. As the industry's first*1 studio camera system to support the Dante®*3 network audio standard as well as the NDI® (High Bandwidth NDI®)*4 and SRT (Secure Reliable Transport)*5 IP transmission standards, Panasonic Connect's new CCU realizes diverse networks and applications for IP studio camera systems.
*1: First studio camera system to support Dante®, NDI® and SRT audio networks as of October 2023, according to Panasonic Connect research.
*2: Standard in AK-UCU710/UCU710S and optional in AK-UCU700/UCU700S (requires ST 2110 interface board AK-NP701 sold separately).
*3: Standard in AK-UCU710/UCU710S and optional in AK-UCU700/UCU700S (requires Dante® interface board AK-NP702 sold separately).
*4: New protocol developed by NewTek, Inc. that supports IP video production workflow. NDI® is a registered trademark of NewTek, Inc. in the United States and other countries.
*5: Requires AK-NP703 streaming interface board sold separately.
