In-Vehicle Screen Mirroring
Make critical information accessible on your vehicle infotainment screen
Enhance operational efficiency in the field with a seamless, integrated experience for communication, vehicle controls, and line of work applications.
Centralised controls at your fingertips
From emergency services and roadside recovery to field technicians and logistics operations, the need for in-vehicle devices to provide up to date information and communication capabilities spans many industries.
With dashboard space shrinking due to ever-larger infotainment screens and tightening regulations on in-vehicle device use, what’s the next step for seamlessly integrating mobile devices in vehicles?
TOUGHBOOK Screen Mirroring uses the compact power of the Cobalt Cube from VNC Automotive to efficiently mirror critical information from a connected TOUGHBOOK device onto the vehicle’s built-in display, enabling mobile teams to seamlessly access critical information in real time through one central interface, while enhancing overall safety.
By making use of existing OEM in-vehicle displays, it removes the need for additional touchscreens and mounting systems, reducing in-vehicle complexity and the potential for impeding access to controls or the deployment of safety measures in the event of an accident.
Other vehicle systems such as ANPR, cameras, lights, and sirens can also be linked and controlled from the same display rather than on separate hardware items, making everything streamlined and more space efficient.
