Panasonic Business, has announced two high-brightness projectors aimed at the education and corporate market that combine the portability and picture quality of LCD imaging, with the low operating cost and high reliability of SOLID SHINE Laser.
The PT-MZ770 series of lens-interchangeable laser phosphor projectors develop 7,500 lumens at WUXGA (PT-MZ770/L) or WXGA (PT-MW730/L) resolution. Both feature an airtight dust-resistant optical unit, one-way airflow and a reusable eco-filter - to enable the whole projector to operate for up to 20,000 hours with virtually no maintenance, significantly lowering running costs.
Having been designed for outstanding reliability in dusty conditions, the projectors are ideal for busy classrooms, lecture theaters, conference rooms, museums, and exhibitions. Features such as a 27dB quiet mode and quick start/quick off, ensure smooth and effective presentations.
“These are particularly smart projectors, which pack very high brightness relative to the projector’s size, ensuring outstanding picture quality, particularly in well-lit rooms,” explains Hartmut Kulessa, Marketing Manager at Panasonic Business. “Daylight view basic uses a sensor to optimise screen luminance according to ambient light levels, while detail clarity processor 4 analyses four frequency bands in the video signal, to improve image crispness.”
Panasonic’s LinkRay™ transmission technology, which sends data to smartphones via the device’s camera is also supported, making the projectors also particularly suitable for signage and other public exhibition roles.
4K video signal input is supported via Panasonic’s single-cable 4K DIGITAL LINK video/control solution and HDMI® terminal.
Presentation screen sharing is possible using either a plug-and-share USB device or an optional wireless module (ET-WM300) which supports screen mirroring via compatible Windows® PCs and Android™ devices, as well as wireless projection from devices with Panasonic apps or software installed.
