NEW PANASONIC PROJECTOR ADDRESSES GROWING DEMAND FOR SMOOTH AND RICHLY DETAILED 4K IMAGES
Bracknell, UK. 1st June 2021 – To meet rising demand for ultra-fine detail resolution, Panasonic has added Quad Pixel Drive to its proven 1-Chip DLP™ SOLID SHINE Laser projection technology to create the 5,200 lumen PT-FRQ50 projector. In addition to delivering smooth and richly detailed 4K (3840 x 2160) images ideal for education, corporates, arts and museum exhibitions, the projector also supports 240Hz/1080p frame rates with minimal input-to-output latency of under 8ms – widening the scope of the projector to fluid motion requirements, such as simulation and esports.
Quad Pixel Drive, Panasonic’s original pixel-quadrupling technology, produces extraordinarily detailed 4K images that retain natural sharpness and clarity. High-speed 240Hz processing and narrow DMD aperture ratio creates an impressive sense of realism with the finest details and textures resolved in smooth, grid-less images. Rich Colour Enhancer produces accurate colours for faithful content reproduction.
To address a wide range of projection applications and 4K installation environments, the PT-FRQ50 includes two HDMI inputs that support CEC commands from compatible devices; an easy-to-integrate DIGITAL LINK connection for 4K video and control-signal transmission over long distances; and separate LAN terminal for control.
The versatile 2.0x zoom lens brings large image sizes to confined spaces with flexible throw-distances. Combined with a wide V/H Lens Shift (V: +71%, -49%, H: +34%, -27%), it provides more freedom to adjust projector location and image position. Geometric Adjustment is easily performed using Free Grid via remote control without the need for a PC, while pre-activated upgrade kits for Geometry Manager Pro[1] enable automatic calibration of multiple screens simultaneously via camera, and an expanded range of software-based geometric adjustment and sophisticated masking capabilities. Remote Preview Lite allows input-video checks on a PC without image projection.
The highly reliable and low-maintenance projector offers up to 20,000-hour maintenance-free projection, while Multi Monitoring & Control Software streamline maintenance and optional Early Warning functions can prevent unexpected downtime.
The PT-FRQ50 Projector is set for release in January 2022. More models will be added to the series later in the year. For more information, visit: https://eu.connect.panasonic.com/gb/en/projectors/pt-frq60-series/pt-frq50
