We offer a full end-to-end service when it comes to vehicle installation, from initial consultation all the way through to roll-out. We’re here to help and support you at every step of the journey.

The Design & Installation Process

DAY 1

INITIAL CONSULTATION

On day one we would gather the full vehicle and use case requirements and then assess the ergonomics of the device positioning to ensure that the solution fits your vehicle appropriately. We would then discuss health and safety considerations, such as ensuring that the device is secured safely and that it will not be a distraction to the vehicle operator. This is a key point that we consider with all vehicle installation projects to ensure your workforce is as safe as possible. We would then make recommendations on the device and peripherals that are required to fulfil the use case.

WEEK 1

VEHICLE SCAN

After the initial consultation we would then use Faro Arm to scan the vehicle and generate an electronic image of the vehicle interior with exact measurements, this will allow us to map out the wiring and installation options.

TRIAL INSTALL

We would carry out a trial installation to ensure that the installation works correctly and then any modifications can be made as required.

WEEK 6

CUSTOMER SIGN-OFF

Once completely happy that the solution fits your requirements, you can formally sign off on the installation(s).

WEEK 7-8

SAFETY REVIEW

Impact testing is only performed on new docks but all installation brackets, and any third party items used within the proposed mounting solution, are reviewed by MIRA (Motor Industry Research Association) in the UK. This is to ensure the safety of the proposed installation with regards to occupants in the vehicle.

WEEK 8

ROLL-OUT

We can contract our vehicle installation partner to carry out the installs or we can train a partner chosen by you.
