Ideal for corporate, education and museum environments with Edge Blending and new zero-offset UST zoom lens compatibility.
Bracknell, UK. 3rd February 2021 – Panasonic Visual Systems Solutions today announced its versatile PT-MZ880 Series of LCD Laser Projectors - for the corporate, education and museum market - will be available from May 2021. Shown at the AVID 2021 event, in Lindlar, Germany, the new Solid Shine Series is an update of the PT-MZ770 range and delivers superb image quality, hassle-free set-up and eco-friendly design.
The Series features PT-MZ880 (8,000 lm), PT-MZ780 (7,000 lm), and PT-MZ680 (6,000 lm) WUXGA models with a refined Multi-Laser Drive Engine for the optimal balance of high brightness, vivid colour, and low-maintenance operation.
Projector highlights include built-in Edge Blending functionality to enable seamless images across multiple screens. The Series is also compatible with a new Panasonic zero-offset Ultra Short Throw zoom lens, scheduled for release in Autumn 2021, making the projectors ideal for creating immersive viewing experiences in venues such as museums.
The new range is eco-friendly and incredibly reliable. Energy consumption is around 20% lower than previous models. The Washable Eco Filter and failover-protected Multi-Laser Drive Engine deliver an estimated 20,000 hours maintenance-free.
The Crestron Connected™, Art-Net DMX, and PJLink™ compatible projectors are ready to integrate and future-proofed with 4K input capability. The series supports Panasonic Multi-Monitoring & Control Software featuring optional Early Warning functions to streamline device management and enhance system reliability. The Smart Projector Control app enables On Screen Display menu adjustment in standby mode and intuitive control from compatible smartphones and tablets.
“This versatile new Series of projectors, and its UST Zoom lens, enables users to be ultra-creative in their use of space - delivering superb quality images across single or multiple screens in a wide variety of environments,” said Hartmut Kulessa, European Marketing Manager at Panasonic Business.
