PANASONIC TO UNVEIL 55 INCH DVLED DISPLAY PANEL AT ISE 2026
Introducing the TL-55LV12A COB dvLED display: a controller-less, HDMI-ready, VESA-mountable solution that drops into existing LCD video walls with ease—delivering seamless visuals and bold color/contrast for maximum impact in any professional AV environment.
Wiesbaden, DE — February 2026 — Panasonic Projector & Display Corporation will unveil its new MEVIX TL-55LV12A dvLED display at ISE 2026 in Barcelona, expanding its professional display portfolio with a large-format LED solution designed to address the practical challenges of specification, installation and long-term operation.
Scheduled for release in the first half of 2026, the 55-inch display delivers seamless, high-brightness visuals while removing traditional LED barriers through controller-less HDMI input and compatibility with standard VESA mounting systems.
Addressing real-world display challenges
Across corporate lobbies, retail environments, transport hubs and control rooms, demand continues to grow for large displays that deliver strong visual impact, high visibility in bright spaces and consistent image quality over extended operating hours. However, many traditional dvLED systems require external controllers, bespoke mounting solutions and complex configuration, increasing cost and deployment time.
The TL-55LV12A has been developed to bridge this gap, combining the visual advantages of LED technology with a deployment model that feels familiar to AV professionals.
Featuring a bezel-less design and a fine 1.26 mm pixel pitch, the TL-55LV12A enables multiple 55-inch units to be combined into large, seamless displays tailored to a wide range of spaces. With brightness of up to 800 cd/m² and a wide colour gamut, the display maintains vivid, high-contrast imagery even in brightly lit environments. Low power consumption is achieved by adopting COB flip chip type LEDs. (110 inch-class, 720W at 800 cd/m² [tentative]).
A key differentiator is its controller-less architecture, allowing content to be displayed directly via a simple HDMI input. This removes the need for dedicated LED controllers and complex system configuration, enabling faster installation and reducing overall system complexity.
To further simplify upgrades and retrofits, the TL-55LV12A is compatible with VESA-standard mounting systems, allowing existing LCD video wall brackets and infrastructure to be reused. This reduces additional construction work and helps lower project costs when transitioning from LCD to LED. Furthermore, this model can be installed both horizontally and vertically to suit various spaces and environments.
Designed with integrators and operators in mind
The display’s slim 29 mm cabinet depth and lightweight design of approximately 22kg reduce the physical demands of transport and installation, while maintaining a clean, architectural appearance once installed.
By combining VESA mounting compatibility with direct HDMI operation, Panasonic enables AV professionals to deploy large-format LED displays using familiar workflows, helping projects move from specification to operation more efficiently.
"With the TL-55LV12A, we focused on removing the practical barriers that often stop LED being considered for everyday professional projects. Controller-less HDMI operation and VESA mounting compatibility make it much easier for integrators to deploy seamless LED displays, while still delivering the visual performance and reliability customers expect from Panasonic."

Built for long-term, continuous operation
Designed for professional environments, the TL-55LV12A supports 24/7 operation and incorporates long-life LED modules rated at up to 100,000 hours to half brightness under standard conditions. The use of COB-type LEDs improves durability and resistance to shock, vibration, dust and contamination, supporting stable performance in demanding locations.
Maintenance is simplified through a front-access design, allowing LED modules, power supplies and circuit boards to be replaced from the front of the display. This minimizes downtime and enables efficient servicing, even in wall-mounted or space-constrained installations.
The unveiling of the MEVIX TL-55LV12A LED solution marks a significant step in Panasonic Projector and Display’s commitment to identifying and meeting customer requirements.
Panasonic Projector and Display Corporation CEO, Yousuke Adachi, said: “Panasonic Projector & Display Co., Ltd. continues to create innovative value and experiences, based on its proven technological expertise and extensive track record in the professional visual solutions business. As a global brand for large-format display systems, we are committed to meeting diverse customer needs across a wide range of markets—from digital signage in retail and public spaces to information displays in corporate and educational environments. By further expanding our LED display lineup, we aim to shape the next generation of visual experiences.”
The TL-55LV12A will be shown publicly for the first time at ISE 2026 on Panasonic’s 3J500 booth.
