Increased Connectivity and Superior Performance
The 33mk4 is the latest TOUGHBOOK that can connect to 5G standalone (SA) and private 5G networks out-of-the-box, delivering ultra-low latency, faster response times, enhanced reliability, and download speeds for mobile workers wherever they are and whatever the application.
Surpassing the processing power of its predecessor, the new TOUGHBOOK utilises the Intel® Core i5™ or i7™ processor (13th generation) with Intel vPro ® technology (Raptor Lake) to run the most demanding applications on Windows 11 Pro.
The TOUGHBOOK 33mk4 also features improved Bluetooth and optional dedicated GPS connectivity, and market-leading IP65 dust and water resistance, independently tested to MIL-STD 810H and IEC 60529 standards.
Enhanced Visibility – 3:2 Aspect Ratio Boosts Productivity
Panasonic has seen a shift from end-users in the 2-in-1 detachable tablet market who are looking for bigger screens to increase productivity in the field. Featuring a 12-inch Quad High Definition screen with a 3:2 aspect ratio, and resolution of 2160 x 1440, the 33mk4 delivers increased screen space when compared with 14-inch screens that utilise the 16:9 aspect ratio.
This means that mobile workers have better visibility of data-heavy on-screen applications when using a typical 12-inch tablet, compared to larger models, resulting in improved usability and better productivity, without hindering mobility.
Device Versatility Drives Superior User Experience Across Industries
Panasonic delivers innovative and versatile mobile device technologies providing superior user experience for field workers across industries including field services, automotive, utilities, defence, and logistics. In utilities and defence, mobile field service workers working in challenging lighting conditions will find that the 33mk4’s screen size, resolution, and crystal-clear clarity will enable them to view documents such as technical drawings, schematics, manuals and maps more easily.
The screen resolution and size of the 33mk4 is also ideally suited to automotive diagnostics as the 33mk4 can be mounted to the steering wheel during testing, enabling field workers to use applications in real-time, improving efficiency and productivity.
For mobile workers that need secure Linux-based solutions, the 33mk4 is also certified for use on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, with device certification and testing handled by Panasonic on behalf of the customer. Furthermore, the 33mk4 delivers up to 15 hours of battery life (using hot-swappable batteries), comfortably handing enhanced connectivity and performance demands.
