Hungarian prototyping specialist Albacomp EA relies on Panasonic Factory Solutions
A collaboration that dates back to 2015 will be extended even more
MUNICH, OCTOBER 2021
Albacomp EA Elektronika, a Hungarian electronic manufacturer, established in 2011, started using Panasonic Factory Solutions hardware in 2015. Over the curse of the last five years and the significant growth of Albacomp, the production lineup was extended with a Panasonic AM100 pick-and-place machine as well as a SPG in-line printer.
Balazs Minarovits, Managing Director of Albacomp EA, states:
"Panasonic approached us in 2014 introduced to the new Panasonic AM100 pick-and-place machine. We liked the concept of double feeders – sometimes we produce boards with many different components; thus, we need a lot of feeders. Besides the dual feeders, we liked the software and bought the first AM100 in 2015.
We are very satisfied with the machine, the running costs and especially the reliability as well as the support of the Panasonic sales and technical staff in Hungary.
In 2017 we were looking into extending our production capabilities, so it was only logical to buy our first in-line printer: the Panasonic SPG.
The next expansion will most likely include a new Panasonic SPG2 for our second line, which is planned for this year. Besides that, another AM100 pick & place machine is on our wishlist.”
Béla Szabó, Senior Account Manager at Panasonic Factory Solutions, is happy about the collaboration with Albacomp EA:
“We have been working with Albacomp since 2014 and are glad that our solutions fit the requirements of a high mix, low to mid-volume production environment perfectly. With a live demonstration at the SMT Hybrid Packaging exhibition in 2014, Albacomp was convinced the dual feeders of the Panasonic AM100 would be a perfect fit for their demands. After the installation of the AM100 and the in-line printer SPG three years later, we are now looking into options for further extensions of Albacomps production setup, as some of the many software modules of PanaCIM Gen2 could further improve the backend automation, maintenance and material management.”
“It makes us very proud that innovative medium-sized companies like Albacomp in Hungary choose the products of Panasonic Factory Solutions. Our reliable hardware and elaborate software solutions are tailored to optimize a variety of production environments, therefore any mix, any volume, any time is not only a statement but a principle of our solutions that provide tangible benefits for our customers. We are happy to support Albacomp with the upcoming expansion plans and support their business growth.” concludes Nils Heininger, Division Director of Panasonic Factory Solutions.
