Panasonic: Die Zeit ist reif für "Gemba Process Innovation" in Europa
Panasonic Business bringt Gemba Process Innovation nach Europa, indem Branchenverständnis, Hardware-, Softwareentwicklungs- und Integrationsfähigkeit kombiniert werden, damit Unternehmen von maßgeschneiderten, integrierten Lösungen zur Umgestaltung in Zukunft noch besser profitieren können. Gemba ist ein japanischer Ausdruck und bedeutet „der physische Standort, an dem Mehrwert geschaffen wird“. In der Lieferkette ist Gemba der Ort, an dem Dinge hergestellt, bewegt oder verkauft werden.
In Europa eignet sich Gemba Process Innovation am besten für die Fertigung, Logistik und den Einzelhandel, aber tatsächlich kann das Konzept für viele Branchen Anwendung finden. In der Fertigung kann Gemba Process Innovation die Automatisierung durch den Einsatz von Technologien wie der Robotik beschleunigen. In der Logistik können Unternehmen auf diese Weise Güter mit Hilfe von Deep-Learning- und IoT-Sensortechnologien sortieren, planen, verfolgen und überwachen. Im Einzelhandel können KI- und Kameratechnologien eingesetzt werden, um personalisiertes digitales Marketing sowie eine automatisierte Nachbestellung von Lagerbeständen zur Optimierung der Produktverfügbarkeit durchzuführen.
„Der Druck von außen, der die Wirtschaft in Europa prägt, war noch nie so groß wie heute“, sagt Hiroyuki Nishiuma, der neue Geschäftsführer von Panasonic System Communications Company Europe (PSCEU). „Dazu zählen beispielsweise veränderte Kaufgewohnheiten der Verbraucher, ein steigendes Umwelt- und Ethikbewusstsein und eine alternde Bevölkerung, die den Arbeitskräftebestand verringert. Panasonic möchte dabei Unternehmen unterstützen diese Probleme mit der nächsten Welle der technologischen Innovation zu lösen. Ziel ist es, als Komplettanbieter Branchenlösungen aufzuzeigen, die sich gezielt auf das „Gemba“ konzentrieren – dem Ort, an dem Mehrwert geschaffen wird.“
