Wide spectrum colour with up to 7.200 lm (centre) brightness
With the next generation of the DLP™ technology the RZ770 series is delivering high resolution in detail and the dual laser modules outputting a brightness of up to 7.200 lm (centre). Due to the quartet colour harmonizer the energy loss of the light source is reduced and the robust and heat resistant phosphor wheel the of PT-RZ770 solid shine laser series produces scintillating images with unfailing reliability.
Outstanding white balance and colour reproduction
The quartet colour harmonizer wheel mechanism captures a wider colour space than comparable laser projectors, which allows white to be reproduced realistically on the screen. With conventional projectors it’s difficult to achieve an accurate white balance causing images to appear with a distracting greenish tint. Panasonic’s quartet colour harmonizer eliminates this negative impact by adding an additional yellow segment to the colour wheel to produce whites with unparalleled accuracy for natural and realistic picture quality.
Maintain image quaility for longer use
Thanks to the long lasting dual solid state laser modules, there are no lamps which needs to be replaced. The image colours and brightness degrades very gradually in consistent, linear fashion. As well as reducing maintenance hassle, out-of-the-box picture quality preserves longer.
Dependable 24/7 operation with failover protection
With the dual drive laser optical engine the laser diodes are grouped into two discrete modules. A failsafe redundancy circuit works to minimize the brightness- and colour uniformity loss if a laser diode fails. In combination with the 20.000 hours*1 maintenance-free projection period the PT-RZ770 series is ideal for mission critical applications.
Dynamic light control delivers better contrast
The PT-RZ770 series directly modulates laser power output to achieve a high contrast with low power consumption. A digitally controlled frame-by-frame scene-linking modulation ensures highly precise output adjustment, while the accurate 10.000:1 contrast ratio is delivered even when bright and dark scenes are frequently interchanging.
Vivid images in bright environments
Panasonics premium system daylight view 3 prevents images from washing cut in well lit envorinments and enhances brightness perception in multi-projector mapping applications by adjusting sharpness and gamma curves and correcting colours. The result is a greater visual impact even in challenging conditions.
Deatil clarity processor 3 - Sharpness in the finest details
This unique Panasonic circuit optimizes the sharpness of each image based on the super high, high, medium and low frequency components of the extracted image information. The resulting images are expressed with natural and convincing realism.
Dust-resistant airtight optical block
The optical block of the PT-RZ770 series is airtight, ensuring consistent, long-lasting image quality for up to 20.000 hours* without maintenance. The optical block design passed stringent testing to assure utmost realiability in environments with up to 0,15mg of particulate matter per cubic meter*2 . The structure prevents brightness degration from dust intrusion.
Select a mode to maintain image quality for longer
Approximatley 20.000 hours of continuous operation
In Normal Mode, the PT-RZ770 series can operate continuously for about 20.000 hours*1. In Eco Mode, this is extended to around 24.000 hours. These modes enhance suitability for education and signage appliacation.
Long Life mode offers up to 10 years maintenance free
In environments where full grightness is not necessary, such as survaillance, control- and simulation-rooms, constatn operation modes extend light-source replacement up to 87.600 hours*2 in Long Life Mode 3 - about 10 years of 24/7 operation with consistent brightness and colour.
User operation modes
In addition to present operation modes, the PT-RZ770 series can be customized to achieve your prefered balance of brightness performance or extended life.
Original Contrast Sync and Shutter Sync functions
The PT-RZ770 series is among the world's first to feature contrast and shutter sync functions for multi screen and mapping applications. Contrast Sync allows the projector's digitally modulated contrast function to be synchronized over the network for consistent picture quality across the screens, while Shutter Sync incorporates a master/slace principle to synchronize shutter on/off timing between all networked projectors. It includes simultaneous face-in and fade-out functions
Geometric Adjustment adapts special projection surfaces
Geo Adjustment adapts the image for projection into spherical, cylindrical and otehr speical shaped screens. Fine-tuning is performed with the remote control with no external equipment needed. paured with Multi-Screen support system, highly creative mapping presentations are possible in variety of event and staging applications.
Single-cable Digital Link control and video connection
Upward HDBaseT™ compatible Digital Link supports transmission of uncompressed Full HD video and control commands through a single CAT 5e or higher STP cable for distances of up to 150m. Add an optional Digital Link switcher (ET-YFB200) or Digital Interface Box (ET-YFB100) to further simplify installation in large venues while reducing cost and improving reliability at the same time.
*1 At this time the brightness will have decreased to approx. haolf of it's original level (Dynamic Contrast Mode: 3, Image Mode: Dynamic). Panasonic recommends cleaning or check-up at point of purchase after approx. 20.000 hours. Light source lifetime may be reduced depending on environmental conditions. Replacement parts other than the light source may be required in a shorter period. *2based on American Society of Heating, Refrigiating and Air-Condition engineers [ASHRAE] and Japanese building maintenance association guidelines *3 With operation mode set to long life 3. Long life mode is tested in conditions with 0.015mg of particulate matter per cubic meter (simulating rear-box projection environment), which is not compliant with the ASHRAE. 24 hours/ day x 365 days/year x 10 years= 87.000 hours. Replacement parts other than the light source may be required in a shorter period.
