TOUGHBOOK A3 es una tablet muy resistente con pantalla de 10,1 pulgadas. Teniendo en cuenta que las empresas cada vez recurren más a Android para satisfacer las necesidades que plantean los dispositivos resistentes como tablets y Handheld,  TOUGHBOOK A3 es ideal para una gran amplia variedad de equipos, desde servicios de emergencia, personal de asistencia de servicios públicos y servicios sobre el terreno, hasta para operadores de transporte y logística y empleados del sector de la automoción. 

Extraordinariamente resistente, el dispositivo ofrece una gran autonomía debido a la larga duración de sus baterías; 9 horas en el caso de las baterías estándar y  15,5 horas con las baterías opcionales de larga duración de capacidad dual. Además, está diseñado para facilitar el uso y la visualización en situaciones meteorológicas y de iluminación adversas. Cuenta también con una serie de opciones de puertos flexibles que se pueden configurar según las necesidades de los operarios de campo.  TOUGHBOOK A3 brinda a los trabajadores móviles todo lo que necesitan para afrontar las tareas más exigentes sobre el terreno. Es resistente al agua y al polvo (IP65) y ha sido sometido a pruebas de caídas de hasta 1,5 metros. El dispositivo es compatible con Panasonic COMPASS 2.0, el paquete de herramientas de gestión empresarial para tablets resistentes y dispositivos Handheld TOUGHBOOK de Panasonic que funcionan con el sistema operativo Android.

The rotating hand strap can rotate a full 360 degrees on the tablet portion of the TOUGHBOOK 20. It attaches via the built-in retention slots on all four sides. The user can carry the device comfortably, while allowing easy access to all features, ports and cameras. The Toughmate 20 Enhanced Rotating Hand Strap comes complete with a removable handle and 55 inch long shoulder strap. The Toughmate 20 Enhanced Rotating Hand Strap is also compatible with the TOUGHBOOK A2.
