The G2 MIL Adaptor was born from direct feedback from our defence partners. They needed a secure, rugged, and fully functional connectivity solution that could withstand the rigours of military operations—without the delays and costs associated with fully custom hardware.

Our Cardiff team responded by leveraging the modularity of the TOUGHBOOK G2mk3 and combining it with a MIL-STD Fischer MiniMax™ connector. The result is a rugged adaptor that delivers USB 3.0 and power connectivity while maintaining the device’s IP65 rating – even when ports are in use.

The G2 MIL Adaptor is more than just a connector; it’s a force multiplier. It enables TOUGHBOOK G2 devices to interface seamlessly with a wide range of military peripherals and systems, including Nett Warrior and NATO STANAG 4695 and 4851 interfaces.

This interoperability is critical for modern mission profiles, where real-time data sharing, situational awareness, and secure communications are non-negotiable. And because the adaptor is developed in-house, we can continue to evolve its capabilities in response to emerging needs, whether that’s adding new interfaces or enhancing software integration.
