Medium-sized company Graf-Syteco relies on Panasonic
Panasonic's hard- and software concept optimizes production processes even in dynamic manufacturing environments
MUNICH, APRIL 2021
The medium-sized technology company Graf-Syteco manufactures products and solutions for the automation of mobile machines in Tuningen, Germany. Their manufacturing process relies upon the PanaCIM Gen2 EE material management software, AM-100 component placer and SPG stencil printer from Panasonic.
With around 70 employees, Graf-Syteco manufactures operating devices with high-resolution displays, controllers and I/O modules as well as robust keyboards primarily for construction machinery, agricultural as well as municipal and firefighting technology.
When it came to expanding the production facilities, a flexible production environment was required as customized solutions are developed in-house from prototype status to series production.
Panasonic Industry's SMT portfolio which follows the motto any mix, any volume, any time, therefore fits perfectly into this dynamic production environment.
At the Tuningen site, Graf-Syteco also uses Innovaxe's innovative material solutions. Right from goods receipt the coordination of the material flow is monitored and controlled. The resulting transparency and efficiency were one of the decisive factors why Jürgen Müller, Managing Director of Graf-Syteco, chose Panasonic Industry.
"In order to efficiently produce not only a series of several thousand but also many small batch sizes with the associated frequent changeovers, we were looking for an extremely powerful and flexible system. With Panasonic's hardware and especially PanaCIM as software for complete production planning, we found what we were looking for.“
Nils Heininger, Division Director of Panasonic Factory Solutions, emphasizes: "We are pleased that innovative medium-sized companies and so-called hidden champions like Graf-Syteco appreciate the advantages of our machines and solutions. Our high-quality and reliable production solutions, such as pick-and-place machines, stencil printers, and our PanaCIM material management software, which is precisely tailored to customer requirements, were able to convince Graf-Syteco - we are looking forward to the cooperation with anticipation."
