With this NDI I/F Unit attached, the Live Switcher AV-UHS500 supports input and output via the high quality, low latency video transmission of NDI®* and the stable, low bit rate transmission of NDI®|HX*. This enables the construction of IP streaming systems covering operations from video transmission to camera control using a single LAN cable and supports remote live video production at sports and other event venues.* In this instance, NDI® is used to indicate low latency with high bandwidth NDI®, NDI®|HX is used to indicate high efficiency low bandwidth NDI®|HX. NDI® is a new protocol developed by NewTek, Inc. that supports IP video production workflow. NDI® is a registered trademark of NewTek, Inc. in the United States.

Upgrade kit consists of 4K output board for the AK-HCU250 and a 4K Optical low pass filter for the AK-HC3900 Camera head
The 4K Optical low pass filter is optional to maximize the resolution and sharpness when shooting in 4K, but the existing filter can be left in place to minimize any chance of moiré
When the AK-HUC01 kit is installed the AK-HC3900 becomes a true 4K studio camera, with an uncompromised 2000 TV resolution
Panasonic service is recommended for both the 4K output board and the Optical low pass filter
