Discover how Panasonic can provide glass-to-glass solution for eSports production with the latest technology, insuring global fan engagement.
LIVE CAMERA SYSTEMS
Our flagship AK-UC4000 camera system, which recently won an Emmy Award for the pioneering development of a large single-chip sensor that utilises internal expansion optics to utilise 2/3” optics. This, along with the Low Skew Mode prevents any potential issues with unwanted moiré screen patterns when using LED screens, which are usually common place in esports studios. The system can also deliver a simultaneous HDR output in UHD and HD from its CCU
REMOTE CAMERA SYSTEMS
Our remote camera solutions are already widely used on esports productions, particularly the AW-UE70, AW-HE130 and AW-UE150. We have also recently released the compact AW-UE4 4K PTZ camera, a perfect headshot option for a director, or if used within a limited space studio environment. The latest addition to the line-up – brand new AW-UE100 as well as the AW-UE150 support the FreeD protocol, and can be used by most popular virtual set systems, such as Brainstorm, Ross, The Future group, Vizrt and Zero Density.
KAIROS – GROUND_BREAKING IT/IP VIDEO PROCESSING PLATFORM
eSport coverage setups can be very intricate as they include many cameras, screen management, AR/VR - all with low-latency requirements. The IT/IP video processing platform is based on a unique, ground-breaking software development that relies on CPU and GPU processing power. The platform offers true uncompressed video processing, uncompressed 4K inputs, Precision Time Protocol or PTP synchronisation and full support of baseband and IP signals such as SDI, ST2110 and NDI, all of which can be handled simultaneously.
ROBOTIC CAMERA SYSTEMS
All in one production can be further enhanced with the integration of robotic camera systems which enable smoother movements and can be managed remotely, from intuitive software platforms that bring multiple systems together as one. That means camera movements can be automated, programmed and repeated by a single operator, delivering a new level of control and precision for esports tournaments while producing more spectacular and engaging content for its viewers.
