Das erste Virtual Reality Studio der Bundeswehr wurde gerade, nach knapp 3 monatiger-Realisierungszeit, durch die Projektleitung des BAAINBw U5.6 (Bundesamt für Ausrüstung, Informationstechnik und Nutzung der Bundeswehr) abgenommen. In der Liegenschaft des ZOpKomBw ( Zentrum Operative Kommunikation der Bundeswehr ) in Mayen, realisierte die KST GmbH für den Bereich Studio-Produktion eine hochgradig automatisierte, 4K-fähige Studioeinrichtung, die VR und AR Umgebungen unterstützt. Diese liegt vorerst, bis zur Fertigstellung des eigentlichen Studio-Gebäudes, in einem temporären Nutzungs-Bereich.
