Der AJ-CVF25GJ kann, anders als andere Farbsucher, auch beim Dreh als LCD-Monitor zum Einsatz kommen, wenn das Okular geöffnet wird. Der AJ-CVF25GJ kann auch seitlich geöffnet und als Side-Panel LCD Monitor genutzt werden. Der AJ-CVF25GJ ist annähernd so groß und schwer wie herkömmliche HD-Farbsucher und unterstützt TV-Kameras sowie professionelle Camcorder und Studiohandkameras von Panasonic.
