AU-EVA1 Telecamera cinematografica compatta
Panasonic ha annunciato, tra l'altro, un aggiornamento del firmware per la telecamera cinematografica compatta EVA1 che, fra i numerosi miglioramenti, consentirà ad esempio la registrazione mediante codec ALL-I e la produzione RAW.
Grazie a questo aggiornamento gratuito, disponibile dalla fine di marzo 2018, la telecamera con sensore Super 35 mm offrirà la compressione ALL-Intra Panasonic 1 per la registrazione integrata, l’output RAW2, la registrazione Time-Lapse, nonché il nuovo codec interlacciato HD 422 per applicazioni televisive.
Inoltre, diventerà possibile gestire la telecamera da remoto tramite dei controller cablati da terze parti, che permetteranno sia di regolare la messa a fuoco e il diaframma, adattandoli a varie opzioni ottiche, sia di controllare lo zoom servoassistito cinematografico compatto Canon.
La nuova versione supporta anche sei obiettivi ART Sigma4.
La clonazione del segnale LCD su HDMI (parziale, a differenza dell'SDI) e la disponibilità di indicatori aggiuntivi per la schermata home andranno entrambi a migliorare il monitoraggio della telecamera. Per ottimizzare ancora di più il flusso di lavoro, Panasonic ha ulteriormente aggiunto la capacità di produrre dati ausiliari per RAW, come il codice temporale, il flag RAC e persino i metadati VANC su SDI.
Dal momento del rilascio agli ultimi mesi del 2017, l’AU-EVA1 è stata impiegata su vasta scala per registrare film indipendenti, spot pubblicitari, documentari ed eventi live. Dotata di supporto EF nativo e PL di terze parti opzionale, la telecamera EVA1, con il suo fattore di forma ridotto, è l’ideale per le applicazioni su droni e gimbal, mentre le funzionalità di gestione del colore e la doppia risoluzione ISO nativa adottate per la VariCam la rendono una telecamera ausiliaria perfetta per le principali produzioni video realizzate con la VariCam.
