TOUGHBOOK 40 with Windows 11 Pro, magnesium chassis and flexible configurations is the most versatile 14" fully rugged TOUGHBOOK ever built, but doesn't compromise on durability with improved strength and IP66 resistant design.In terms of flexibility, the TOUGHBOOK 40 is equally outstanding. It offers a huge array of flexible configuration options, making it easier for customers to have exactly the device they want.

As well as a user replaceable battery, RAM and SSD, the TOUGHBOOK 40 notebook has four other expansion areas e.g. for smart card and fingerprint readers, including a multi-user authentication for when the notebook is being used by a team.

Designed for discretion

On the road or in the field, the TOUGHBOOK 40 notebook is geared up for vehicle diagnostics and maintenance as well as defence training. It also has a new all-black exterior, and a one touch Concealed Mode function, making it the perfect partner for operations that require some stealth.

No more device failures, downtime or interrupted work

Engineered from the ground up to be used on-the-go and in harsh environments, this device is tested to military standard (MILSTD810H) and is the first TOUGHBOOK notebook that contains a complete IP66 rating. It’s also built to withstand drops of up to 180cm as well as knocks, vibrations and extreme temperatures for ultimate reliability in any environment.

Get optimised connectivity thanks to 4G LTE with the option of 5G - both offering eSIM support. And with a quad path-through antenna connector, and up to 36-hours of battery life (thanks to optional battery hot-swap), your team will always be able communicate, access critical info and report in real time when on the move.
